One kind of restaurant that had been missing in the RTP area until very recently was one where you could take clients, or meet for business. My friend, Tom, and I wanted to go to downtown Durham the other day to have lunch. We were headed to Dames Chicken and Waffles, but it was closed due to a problem with their air conditioning unit. I’ve been on a vegetarian kick lately, though I am by no means a vegetarian. I am just trying to cut down on my red meat intake and live a healthier lifestyle. I always look forward to traveling to Charlotte, not only to see one of my oldest and dearest friends in the world, but also to enjoy the great culinary scene in the Queen City.
